Questions people ask

Does Glug have ads?

No, and it never will. Glug is free to play with no ads, no tracking and no accounts.

What does the purchase do?

Once you have played a while, Glug asks every few levels whether you are enjoying it, and after 20 levels it asks each time you open the game. You can always say not now. A one-time purchase removes those popups for good. The game itself is exactly the same either way.

I bought it on another phone. How do I get it back?

Open Settings from the start screen and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same store account you bought it with.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The whole game plays without a connection. The store is only needed to buy or restore the purchase.

Where is my progress saved?

On your phone only. There are no accounts and no cloud saves, so uninstalling the game or clearing its data starts you again from level 1. A purchase can always be restored.

Does it ever end?

No. Levels are generated as you go, and every one is checked to be solvable before you see it. Difficulty climbs to 16 colours by level 60 and then stays there, with fresh puzzles every time.

Some colours look alike to me.

The colours were chosen to stay apart for common kinds of colour blindness. If two still look similar, turn on symbols in Settings and each colour gets its own shape.

I'm stuck.

Tap the light bulb. Hints are free and unlimited: Glug points at the vial to pour from next, or tells you how many moves to undo if you have painted yourself into a corner. A level finished with a hint earns up to two stars.
